The summer has been really busy and memorable so far, and has included...
popsicles,
playing in the little pool and sprinkler with Harrison,
zoo field trip days,
shady playtime on the front porch,
ice cream sandwiches,
new glasses,
gorgeous, smiling baby eyes,
playdates with friends,
enormous messes (which required multiple baths to remove from her hair. Simon dumped it on her. She laughed and let him. Great...),
flower-picking,
more ice cream...
a pair of new rubber boots,
a trip to the Hawthorn Glen nature center,
a mission to North Point Lighthouse to learn how lighthouses work,
(here, Charlotte is showing off her certificate for making it to the very top of the lighthouse. An impressive feat considering the 6 winding staircases and rather precarious ladder on the top floor.)
and a Daddy-and-Simon outing to a Brewers game, complete with hot dogs and strawberry sundaes. (Can you tell that Simon likes ice cream?)
